Current stage: Launch & Support
This is ongoing reference information for a parish whose website service is already active. It is not another form or launch step, and no action is needed simply because the parish has reached handoff.
Annual Renewal
The BOTH/AND website service is $500 per year and renews automatically using the online payment method associated with the subscription. The annual term begins on the successful payment date, and the renewal date follows that payment anniversary.
BOTH/AND sends or schedules a reminder approximately 30 days before renewal. No action is needed when the parish wishes to continue the service.
Cancelling Before Renewal
The parish may cancel the next renewal through the online billing system or by contacting BOTH/AND before the renewal date. Cancellation prevents the next annual charge, and normal service continues through the end of the paid term.
Cancellation does not shorten or refund the current term. A completed renewal payment is normally nonrefundable because the new hosting and maintenance term has begun. BOTH/AND will correct a duplicate charge or billing error and may approve another written exception when appropriate.
If a Renewal Payment Fails
If an automatic renewal payment does not complete, BOTH/AND will send a secure way to correct it. The parish has 14 calendar days from the failed-payment date to resolve it. If payment remains unresolved after the grace period, BOTH/AND may suspend service and begin the non-renewal transition.
If the Parish Does Not Renew
Hosting, maintenance, updates, support, backups, monitoring, and included changes end when the paid annual term ends.
BOTH/AND will prepare and securely offer a complete site-level transfer package. It includes the website database and files, parish uploads, transferable installed software, and a standard content export. It does not include server-wide configuration, credentials, secrets, nontransferable licenses, or another client’s information.
The parish is responsible for selecting replacement hosting and arranging any outside technical help needed to receive, move, rebuild, or adapt the website.
The 30-Day Courtesy Period
When technically practical, BOTH/AND will retain a recoverable hosted copy for 30 calendar days after the paid term ends and answer reasonable questions from the replacement provider about the supplied package.
This is not an extra month of normal service. Public availability is not guaranteed, and it does not include maintenance, content changes, redesign, development, compatibility work, or a guarantee that the website will work unchanged with another provider.
After 30 days, BOTH/AND may remove the website and account-level information from its servers. SiteGround backups are not a permanent parish archive, so the parish or new provider must preserve the supplied package.
Information Needed for a Transition
- The authorized person who should receive the package
- The replacement technical provider, when applicable
- Confirmation that the package was downloaded and preserved
- Any reasonable package-transfer question before the 30-day deadline
Do not send passwords, recovery codes, or other secrets through the Contact Us form. Use the Contact Us page for renewal, cancellation, billing, or transition questions.
What Happens Next?
No action is needed when the parish wants the annual service to continue. BOTH/AND will send or schedule the renewal reminder. If the parish cancels, a payment fails, or a transition is requested, we will send the instructions that apply to that situation.
