Current stage: Information & Content
Every standard BOTH/AND parish website uses Google Site Kit to connect Google Analytics and Google Search Console. This preserves useful information about how people find and use the website.
The parish owns its Analytics and Search Console information. BOTH/AND connects and verifies the services and may consult the reports later when the parish has questions about website use. An approved Site Manager may view Site Kit reports inside the website, but the parish is not expected to study Analytics regularly.
Use Parish-Managed Access
Parish-managed access does not mean that everyone in the parish can see or manage Analytics. It means the account and website history remain available to the parish rather than depending on one person’s personal account.
At least two trusted, authorized parish representatives should have their own administrator access. If one person changes roles, becomes unavailable, or loses access, the other administrator can preserve the parish’s account and add the appropriate replacement.
Each administrator should use a separate Google Account. Do not share one username and password between several people. Separate access protects the account and makes it clear who made an administrative change.
If the parish does not already have a suitable Analytics account or property, read Setting Up Google Analytics for Your Parish before completing this form. The parish may create the property itself or ask BOTH/AND to help using the parish-managed account and approved access.
Never Send Credentials
Do not submit a Google password, recovery code, two-step verification code, or other private credential. When access is needed, add the authorized user through Google’s access controls or complete the step during a brief screen-sharing session.
The website will include a standard privacy policy describing the verified Google services and other website features. The parish will review and approve the factual details before launch.
What Happens Next?
We will review the existing property and administrator list, help the parish establish parish-managed access when needed, and connect the approved Google Analytics property through Site Kit. Before handoff, we will confirm that at least two authorized parish representatives have separate administrator access.
