What Your Annual Website Service Includes

Current stage: Launch & Support

This page explains the $500 annual BOTH/AND website service, what it includes, how recurring payment works, and what happens before and after launch. Review it before approving the website for launch.

When the parish approves the website for launch, BOTH/AND sends a parish-specific secure checkout link. The annual service term begins when that payment succeeds.

Payment Summary

  • Annual service: $500 per year
  • Payment method: Online recurring payment
  • Automatic renewal: Annually on the payment anniversary

The payment method used at checkout will be charged automatically each year unless the parish cancels before the renewal date. Checks and a monthly payment option are not available.

What the Annual Service Includes

  • Managed shared hosting on BOTH/AND’s servers
  • Daily backups and hosting-level security monitoring
  • Updates to WordPress and the approved standard website software
  • A response to support requests by the end of the next two business days
  • Reasonable-use small routine changes within the existing website structure

The complete terms are available on What Your BOTH/AND Website Service Includes.

Renewal and Cancellation

BOTH/AND sends or schedules a reminder approximately 30 days before renewal. The parish may cancel the next renewal through the online billing system or through the Contact Us page before the renewal date.

Cancellation prevents the next annual charge; it does not refund or shorten the current paid term. A completed renewal payment is normally nonrefundable because the new hosting and maintenance term has begun, except for a duplicate charge, billing error, or written exception approved by BOTH/AND.

What Happens After Payment

  1. BOTH/AND confirms the remaining domain and launch requirements.
  2. The launch is scheduled during an appropriate working window.
  3. Existing email and other non-website DNS records are preserved.
  4. The approved website is connected to the live domain.
  5. The production-only checks listed below are completed and any live technical issues are corrected.
  6. The parish receives the live-site review request and Website Completion Confirmation.

What Can Only Be Verified After Launch

  • Form and email delivery, receipts, authenticated sender details, and Reply-To behavior
  • Website user login and access on the live domain
  • Google Site Kit, Google Analytics, and Search Console
  • HTTPS, redirects, canonical URLs, indexing, caching, and live performance
  • Live calendar behavior, backups, links, navigation, forms, and desktop/mobile presentation

These checks are included in the launch process. They do not require another payment or a second general website approval. If a production-only problem is found, BOTH/AND will correct it before completing the website handoff. Renewed approval is needed only if a correction creates a material visible change to what the parish approved.

How Payment Works

BOTH/AND sends a client-specific secure checkout link after the parish approves the website through the Website Review form. The checkout identifies the correct parish, domain, billing email, and subscription. The parish authorizes the initial and recurring charges within that secure checkout. Do not use or share a payment link intended for another parish.

What Happens Next?

After the parish approves the website, BOTH/AND sends the secure checkout link. After the annual payment succeeds, the service term begins. BOTH/AND will schedule the live-domain connection, complete launch verification, correct any production-only technical issues, request the Website Completion Confirmation, and then provide the website handoff and support information.
